Youth remembers and acts

Specialists of the AOC AIDS of the Taldykorgan branch Akasheva R. and Kuatbekova D. May 12, 2022 a seminar was held among students of Zhetysu State University named after I. Zhansugurov in the framework of the Day of Remembrance of those who died from AIDS under the slogan “We will understand! We are acting! We are more than AIDS!

Students were provided with information on the ways of transmission of HIV infection. Young people took an active part in the discussion of the risks of infection and measures to prevent the disease.

Epidemiologists also spoke about the myths associated with HIV infection, drew the attention of the audience to the inadmissibility of stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV.

The number of participants is 45 people.
