Conducted workshop with key populations

On May 20, 2023, in Esik, Yenbekshikazak district, a seminar was held among the main population groups on the occasion of the World Day of Remembrance for those who died from AIDS.

Myrzagulova T., an epidemiologist at the Preventive Works Department of the Almaty Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS, a nurse at the trust point, Kasymova L., and a doctor of a friendly office, a dermatovenereologist, A. Bozheva, drew the attention of the representatives of the CGP to the importance and tasks of the World Day.

At the seminar, 20 people were tested for HIV, 5 people for sexually transmitted infections.
