Epidemiologists held a seminar for health workers

On May 19, 2023, specialists from the epidemiological surveillance department and the treatment and prevention department of the Almaty Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS held a seminar with the medical staff of the district central hospital in the village of Uzynagash, Zhambyl district.

At the seminar “Epidemiology, clinic, diagnostics and prevention of HIV infection”, epidemiologists Akhmetbekov A. and Chazhayeva M. explained the state of HIV testing for epidemiological indications in accordance with the orders of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Infectious disease doctor K. Bimurzaeva focused on the algorithm of actions of medical workers in emergency situations.

Then the experts answered the questions of the participants.
